Dr. Shirley White has the resourcefulness to provide the media with the key ingredients to create an informative, innovative and newsworthy story. As a recognized career strategist, she has been frequently quoted in trade and consumer publications, and has appeared on numerous radio and television talk shows. Shirley currently presents the "Career Corner" segment on “Baton Rouge Lagniappe,” the public affairs show for NBC-TV, Channel 33, and writes the "Dr. Shirley’s Career Corner" column on general career issues for BIC Magazine. In addition, she is a contributing author in the Simon & Schuster Book, Dear Success Seeker: Wisdom from Outstanding Women.
Dr. White's publications include Dress to Win: 10 Steps to Maximum Personal Impact, 101 Winning Tips for Casual Dress in the Workplace, 101 Winning Tips for Getting a Job, and currently, she is working on 101 Winning Tips for Practicing Business Etiquette Essentials. Her latest release is a CD, "Dr. Shirley's Motivational Moments, Inspirational Messages for Daily Encouragement."
